Israeli forces intensified their military campaign across the Gaza Strip overnight, with heavy shelling reported in multiple neighbourhoods of Gaza City, including Shujaiya, Bureij, Al Rimal and Zaytoun. Explosions rocked residential areas as troops reportedly used explosives to demolish homes. Similar demolitions were carried out in the Saudi neighbourhood west of Rafah.

Israeli tanks were sighted in the Sabra neighbourhood, pointing to a widening ground incursion. The human cost continues to climb over 60 people were killed on Saturday, including at least 12 reportedly seeking humanitarian aid.

The worsening food crisis is becoming just as deadly. The death toll from famine and malnutrition has now reached 281, including 114 children—a grim indicator of the enclave’s collapse under siege and bombardment.

With basic infrastructure in ruins and aid access severely restricted, Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe shows no sign of abating.
