Geneva will host an opening event on Wednesday featuring remarks from Mr. Tom Fletcher, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

A press conference by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel will also take place in Geneva.
