Israel has cut off electricity supplies to Gaza leaving residents grappling with how to charge their phones so they can reach their loved ones.

Thousands of people from Gaza are stranded either in Israel or the occupied territories, unable to return home.

Some are patients receiving medical treatment.

Human rights organizations have been pressuring the Israeli government to ensure their safe return but are still waiting for a response.
