US Secretary of State Antony Blinken travels to Egypt (Jan 29), Jerusalem (JAN 30), and Ramallah (JAN 31).

The State Department said Blinken will discuss a “range of global and regional priorities” – including the war in Ukraine and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict – during a three-day visit to Egypt, Israel and the occupied West Bank starting today Sunday.

At least 30 Palestinians have been killed in the Occupied West Bank since the start of the year.
A Palestinian gunman opened fire outside a synagogue in an illegal settlement in occupied East Jerusalem FRI night. Seven people were killed and three wounded. He was later shot and killed by police during a pursuit. The attack, which
occurred during Shabbat prayers, came a day after an Israeli military raid killed nine Palestinians in the occupied West
Bank.

On Saturday a shooting attack in Silwan left two wounded.
