On Tuesday Palestinians commemorate Land Day when Israel confiscated thousands of hectares of land in Galilee in 1967; a policy Palestinians in the occupied West Bank know all too well. Military zones, state land, and other labels are among methods used to take over Palestinian lands and push locals out. Palestinians in both Gaza and in Palestine-Israeli communities protests are also expected to take part in Land day commemorations.
