Thousands of people heading for the US in a migrant caravan have crossed into Guatemala in what is likely to become the first test of America’s immigration policy under Joe Biden. At least 6,000 Hondurans are in the Guatemalan village of Vado Hondo, making their way north. Police there have fired tear gas and formed human walls to try and stop the refugees and migrants along their journey. Governments throughout Central America have made it clear they will not let the caravan through.
