Floods caused by heavy monsoon rains led to the evacuation of around 20,000 people from low-lying areas in Malaysia early Tuesday.

Meteorologists warned of more flooding in the Borneo Island in East Malaysia and Sabah state.

In Johor and Pahang states, the most affected by floods since JAN 1, more than 7,000 people have been evacuated from their homes.
