Sudan fighting is now into a third month/Aljazeera.

The UN, along with co-hosts Egypt, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the EU are holding a pledging event to support the humanitarian response in Sudan and the region, with needs estimated at around $3 billion to support millions inside the country and refugees.

The Secretary-General, USG Griffiths, and HC Grandi will be speaking remotely, as will the ministerial participants listed on the draft programme.

The Opening Segment will include brief statements from the co-hosts.
