Pakistan is struggling to cope with flooding as exceptionally heavy rain continues in most of the country.
Hundreds have died and almost 2 million people have been affected by the flooding since mid-June and the crisis has forced the government to declare a state of emergency.
The government says at least 300 children were among the dead.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has asked for international help as rescuers struggled to evacuate thousands of marooned people from flood-hit areas.
In neighbouring Afghanistan, more than 180 people have been killed and 3,000 homes destroyed by floods over the past month.
Government officials say the scale of the damage has been worse because of the mismanagement of infrastructure by the previous government.
