Wad Madani resistance committee says RSF attacks and sieges on villages in east Gezira continues, with the death toll from hunger and disease increasing as a result.

The RSF has launched attacks on villages in the east of Gezira state since October 20, when its commander defected to the army, leading to the displacement of over 135,000 and the deaths of more than 500 according to the resistance committee.

Thousands have been displaced by the fighting to River Nile State, but more than a 100 people are missing, and their loved ones do not know where they are.
