The city of Port Sudan on the Red Sea has turned into a humanitarian hub since the war began in April.

But despite the huge amounts of aid that arrived in Port Sudan and the efforts to alleviate the suffering of those displaced by the conflict, thousands if not millions of them are still in separate need of help.

The UN refugee agency warned the conflict which started in April will force more than a million people to flee to neighbouring countries.

More than 180,000 people have already fled to Chad, driven from Sudan by violence the UN says could constitute ‘crimes against humanity’.
