The UN’s human rights body OHCHR is recognizing 75 years since the Universal Declaration of Human rights was adopted by the United Nations, and they’ve announced a ‘countdown’ to Human Rights Day (December 10).

The body says it aims to ‘rejuvenate’ the declaration and ensure it applies to all.

There will be a roundtable, with statements by Volker Türk, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights &Rosemary DiCarlo, Under Secretary-General, Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
