UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer, visits Egypt’s Rafah border in North Sinai, amid an escalating situation in the region as a result of the expansion of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza to the Lebanese front.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi continues his tour of the region for consultations.

In the coming days, he will travel to Cairo and Amman.
