The UK Parliament has been recalled to discuss the Afghanistan crisis.
According to the Telegraph, Boris Johnson will deliver a statement to the House of Commons, unusually recalled during the summer recess for a one-day debate, about the situation in Afghanistan.

Taliban insurgents entered Kabul on Sunday as the United States evacuated diplomats from its embassy by helicopter.
Chaotic scenes have taken place at Kabul’s airport as thousands of people are trying to board planes in order to leave the country on Sunday. Senior U.S. military officials say Kabul’s international airport has been closed to commercial flights as military evacuations continue.
