Six more Palestinians have been killed and others injured when Israeli forces bombed a house in the Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza City. This brings the toll up to at least 29 killed since dawn in Gaza on Tuesday.  Earlier, several strikes across the strip overnight including on the Yarmouk stadium and a tent in Khan Younis.

Hamas’s armed wing Qassam Brigades says it’s lost contact with members of its group who have holding American Israeli captive, Edan Alexander. The group says an Israeli strike targeted the location where he was being held.

Hamas said on Monday that it was studying a proposal that it received from mediators in Egypt on a ceasefire in Gaza – and would respond “as soon as possible.”
