The World Water Forum is the world’s largest event dedicated to the issue of water.
It has been organised every three years since 1997 by the World Water Council.

The Forum brings together more than 1,000 participants representing, among others, States, bilateral and multilateral institutions, universities, civil society organisations and the private sector to address global water challenges and capacity building.
The forum started on Monday ahead of the UN’s annual World Water Development Report which was released on World Water Day.
