Not less than 9 Palestinians have been killed on Tuesday, 6 in Gaza City and 3 in Khan Younis.
Israel has informed the UN that it will only allow half of the agreed-upon number of humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza. That’s after Israeli authorities accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire deal, regarding the return of the bodies of deceased captives.
All but 2000 Palestinian prisoners were released from Israeli prisons to be sent to Gaza and the West Bank; 154 of these prisoners were exiled to Egypt.
The situation inside Gaza remains dire – with an urgent need for scaled up aid deliveries.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, the number of Palestinians who remain in detention in Israeli occupation prisons is estimated at more than 9,100. These are the only prisoners held in central prisons, while hundreds more remain detained in occupation army camps.
Tens of thousands of forcibly displaced Palestinians have been returning to the north of the Strip ever since the ceasefire deal came into effect.
