UNHCR high commissioner Filipo Grandi is visiting Sudan’s displacement centers.
According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) 10.7 million people have been uprooted from their homes in Sudan from different conflicts, including nine million displaced internally— with two-thirds being since the latest conflict broke out in April 2023.
The Organisation is calling for concerted international efforts to urgently scale up humanitarian response to the world’s largest displacement.
