The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has designated Francesco Rocca for a second four-year term as President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

(IFRC) is holding its General Assembly from Sunday-Tuesday in Geneva.

During the assembly, which takes place every two years, representatives from 192 national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies vote on IFRC-wide strategies, policies, plans and budgets.
