Diplomat Angelique Eijpe resigned after 21 years working for the Dutch foreign service on January 1 and has been one of the initiators of the protests of civil servants held every Thursday in The Hague.

Eijpe resigned because she felt that she can’t work for a government any longer that does not call for a cease fire in Gaza.

As a diplomat she has worked in Gaza herself. She is also one of 800 international diplomats who released a communique last week and a founder of the One State Foundation.
