The Gaza Strip is experiencing a deepening humanitarian crisis as 50 Palestinians have been killed since Tuesday, including 20 in Israeli airstrikes targeting a school sheltering displaced families in Al Burij refugee camp.
Aid has not entered the region since 2nd March, exacerbating fears of rising malnutrition, disease, and other preventable conditions. Hospitals in Gaza, threatened with closure due to a fuel ban, are struggling to cope, with a spokesperson from Al Aqsa Hospital warning of impending shutdowns. Malnutrition has claimed at least 57 lives, the majority of them children, while a severe shortage of essential medicines has left 43% of required stocks at zero.
