Tuesday marks the 50th day of Israel’s military operations in Jenin city and its adjacent refugee camp, where the toll of the ongoing conflict continues to escalate. At least 30 individuals have lost their lives, while dozens more have sustained injuries as the situation intensifies. The devastating assault has led to widespread destruction, including the demolition of approximately 500 homes and vital facilities. As a result, the Jenin refugee camp, which has long been home to thousands, has witnessed mass displacement, with nearly the entire population being forced to flee for their safety.

The ongoing destruction has left the area in ruins, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. The residents of Jenin, many of whom had already been living in difficult conditions, are now facing the additional burdens of homelessness, lack of access to basic services, and extreme uncertainty about their future. With the siege on the camp showing no signs of easing, the number of casualties and displaced individuals continues to rise, prompting international calls for an end to the violence and increased efforts to address the dire situation.
