Farmers from across the country are expected to march to the Indian Parliament, demanding financial assistance from the government.

This includes setting up a committee to relieve the debt of poorer farmers and guaranteeing them a minimum price for some crops/produce.

Farmers say the government has not fulfilled promises made when it repealed the 3 agriculture laws in 2022.
