Flooding has displaced nearly 80,000 people in southern Ethiopia. Heavy rains led the river Omo to break its banks.
People in the capital Omorate, a city of 7,500 say the water is still rising and could flood the areas.
The south is particularly vulnerable in the rainy season due to frequent and severe landslides and flooding.
In July two landslides buried two villages killing 257 people in Gofa region.
