More than 100 civil servants are set to stage a sit-in in front of the Foreign Ministry in The Hague to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the genocide in Gaza.

This poignant gathering aims to raise awareness about the ongoing humanitarian crisis and to express solidarity with the victims of violence in the region.

Over the past year, civil servants have been actively participating in weekly sit-ins to voice their dissent against the Dutch government’s continued support for Israel.

These demonstrations have been a platform for expressing their concerns about human rights violations and the impact of military actions on civilians.

By holding this significant sit-in, they hope to draw attention to their cause once again and to urge the government to reconsider its stance on the conflict.

The event not only serves as a memorial for those affected but also emphasizes the commitment of these civil servants to advocate for justice and accountability on the international stage.
