Since March 2nd, no aid has reached Gaza, pushing the region ever closer to famine. Thousands of aid trucks, laden with vital supplies, remain stuck at the border, unable to enter. This blockade, one of the longest imposed on the Strip, is exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis, with growing concerns over rising malnutrition, disease, and preventable conditions.

At least 57 people, the majority of them children, have died from malnutrition. UNICEF has issued a stark warning, highlighting that Gaza’s children are facing an escalating risk of starvation, illness, and death due to the blockade on food, water, and medicine.

The situation is further compounded by a severe shortage of essential medicines, with 43% of critical drugs now completely out of stock, leaving many unable to receive the medical care they desperately need. As the blockade persists, the prospects for Gaza’s survival grow increasingly bleak.
