A demonstration is expected in front of the Israel Supreme Court against the judicial amendments law, hours before the court convenes its entire 15-judge bench to hear an appeal against an amendment that curbs its own powers, passed in July by government coalition.

On Tuesday, Israel’s Supreme Court is due to review petitions against the first piece of legislation as part of the judicial changes passed by the Knesset in July.
