The situation in Gaza continues to worsen, with escalating violence and severe humanitarian challenges. On Sunday morning, an Israeli drone attack targeted civilians in the Juhor ad-Dik area in central Gaza, resulting in the death of one Palestinian and several others suffering injuries. Later that day, a second Israeli drone strike hit a camp of displaced people in northern Gaza, killing one individual. The violence did not stop there, as another drone strike in the southern Gaza area of Netsarim claimed the life of yet another Palestinian.

The ongoing conflict has exacerbated the already dire humanitarian crisis. Drinking water remains a critical issue, as more than half a million people in Gaza now face severe water shortages after Israel’s decision to cut power to a vital desalination plant more than a week ago. This disruption has left many residents without access to clean water, compounding the suffering of an already desperate population.

Sunday marked the 15th consecutive day since Israel halted the entry of aid into Gaza. With 2.3 million Palestinians heavily reliant on food assistance, the situation has reached a breaking point. There is an urgent and growing need for fuel, shelter, and medical supplies to provide even the most basic support to those affected by the violence.

In total, 12 Palestinians lost their lives in Gaza on Saturday, adding to the mounting death toll. The relentless violence and the ongoing blockade have left the people of Gaza in an increasingly untenable position, with no end in sight to the humanitarian disaster.
