Students at The New School have blocked the entrances to the university center to establish what they call a Gaza Solidarity Block.
A group called The New School’s Students for Justice in Palestine is calling on the university’s board of trustees to divest from 13 Israeli-related companies.
In the press-release they said that the school is investing in 65 funds that have positions in 13 companies that include Google, GE, Boeing, Lockheed Marin and Raytheon Co.
