The families of those held captive say there has been no mention of their loved ones or contact made by the government since the initial release of 23 Thai captives in November.
Rights activists claim the government has remained silent on their situation for the last few months and seems to have given up on diplomatic efforts to get their release.
Before Israel’s war on Gaza, some 30,000 Thai workers were working in Israel in agricultural jobs.
Of all countries that are third parties to the ongoing conflict, Thailand has lost the most citizens.
At least 39 Thai nationals were killed during the initial attack, and another 32 were taken captive into Gaza.
Following intensive diplomatic efforts and mediation by countries such as Qatar, the government in Bangkok was able to secure the release of 23rd Thai hostages.
