British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak deals with the political fallout after a member of his Conservative party made remarks widely condemned and considered as Islamophobic.

Conservative lawmaker Lee Anderson said on Friday (February 23) that the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, was under the control of Islamists, which prompted his suspension from the party.

Sunak denied on MON that his governing party has Islamophobic tendencies, saying comments by Anderson were unacceptable.
