Omdurman – Sudan’s army has managed to break a siege imposed by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces on one of its bases in the city of Omdurman in the capital Khartoum.

It comes as the army which has been fighting the paramilitary for the past ten months regains control of more grounds from the group in Khartoum.

The siege has left many civilians residing around the base cut off from basic necessities.
