U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on his fifth visit to the Middle East since the war began, looking to ease tensions while increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza, securing the release of captives and ensuring Palestinians are not forcibly displaced.

He visits Turkiye, Crete, Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the West Bank and Egypt from January 4th-11th.
