The final group of the 50 Israeli captives meant to be released as part of the agreement between Hamas and Israel are expected to be freed today Monday, in the fourth day of the four-day ceasefire.
Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails will also be released at a rate of 3 for every 1 Israeli captive released.
On Saturday Israeli media reported that Egyptian sources said there are “positive signs” that the ceasefire could be extended for a further one or two days to enable the release of more Israeli captives.
