An extraordinary meeting of the UN nuclear watchdog’s Board of Governors takes place in Vienna to discuss Israel’s strikes on Iran.
Russia requests the session, which remains behind closed doors.
A brief photo opportunity marks the start, featuring Rafael Grossi, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the board’s chair.
On Friday, the IAEA says that Iran’s Natanz nuclear site—comprising an underground uranium-enrichment plant and a smaller, above-ground pilot facility—is targeted in the Israeli attacks.
