The Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and Israel, will brief the Human Rights Council and present its full report.

In a press release issued ahead of the report, the Commission stated that Israeli attacks on educational, religious, and cultural sites in the Occupied Palestinian Territory constitute war crimes and the crime against humanity of extermination. While the Commission paid particular attention to Gaza, the report covers attacks across the Occupied Palestinian Territory and within Israel.

The Human Rights Council sessions will run until July 11.
