Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s military campaign in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the deaths of at least 60,000 Palestinians and left nearly 146,000 injured, the Gaza health ministry reported Tuesday.

On Tuesday alone, Israeli strikes killed at least 83 people, including 33 waiting to receive food aid.

Meanwhile, at least 148 Palestinians—including 89 children—have died from starvation.

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, a global authority on hunger, has warned that Gaza is entering a “worst-case scenario of famine.” The growing death toll and severe food shortages highlight the escalating humanitarian disaster amid the ongoing violence.
