Iran’s top military officials have rejected Israeli claims that a ceasefire was breached on Tuesday, dismissing them as baseless. The Supreme National Security Council declared that Israel had been compelled to accept a ceasefire after nearly two weeks of open conflict, marking what Tehran described as a strategic defeat for its adversary.

Iran’s nuclear chief, Mohammad Eslami, stated on Tuesday that the country is currently evaluating damage to its nuclear infrastructure. He added that plans are already in motion for its full restoration, according to domestic media reports.

Meanwhile, Iran’s health ministry reported that 606 people have been killed and more than 2,500 injured in the recent escalation, the majority of them civilians. Health Minister Bahram Eynollahi noted that 95% of those killed died beneath rubble, underscoring the heavy toll on urban areas.
