Hundreds of people have been reported missing in Sudan’s conflict between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.

While some are never heard from again, many end up being detained by the warring sides.

The rights group Sudan Emergency Lawyers says hundreds of civilians are being detained in the capital Khartoum in inhumane conditions, with most of them held by the RSF.
