Fighting continues in parts of the country, after the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces on Thursday took control of the city of Al Fula.

Fighting in the capital of the West Kordofan State between the Sudanese army and the RSF lasted several hours.

Thousands have been killed and millions displaced in the conflict since fighting broke out in April last year.
