Zimbabwe’s government is predicting food shortages, with its grain harvest estimated at 62% below target.

Southern Africa has suffered its lowest rainfall in more than 40 years, leaving more than 27-million people facing food shortages, the UN has warned.

It’s seeking to ration out supplies, to safeguard vulnerable households.
