WFP is to publish footage of Sudanese refugees in Renk, South Sudan.

More than 500,000 people have arrived in South Sudan, fleeing the war in Sudan that broke out in April 2023, according to UNHCR.

Aid agencies are struggling to meet the needs of these people, while up to 2,000 people keep arriving each day.

Aid organizations are reporting severe malnutrition among children and are warning of catastrophic levels of hunger.

With nearly 8M people displaced, Sudan’s war has sparked the world’s largest displacement crisis.

On February 21st, WFP will do a briefing with four directors leading the Sudan crisis & will provide footage afterwards on request.
