Violence in the West Bank shows no sign of abating. On Wednesday, clashes broke out in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, and a Palestinian man was shot in al-Ram, north of East Jerusalem.
Settler expansion continues unabated.
The Civil Administration is reviewing plans for nearly 2,000 housing units, while Israel’s construction ministry issued tenders for 356 new units in a settlement southeast of Ramallah.
Settlers have increasingly carried out armed incursions into villages such as Burin, Qusra, and Rujeib, highlighting the persistent volatility and risk of escalation in the region.
