In the early hours of Thursday, Israeli air strikes targeted eight residential homes in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, leaving 22 people dead.

The Israeli military has issued a new evacuation order to residents of parts of Gaza City, including the vicinity of Al Shifa Hospital. The hospital and surrounding areas have served as a refuge for thousands of displaced Palestinians over the past two months.

Since dawn on Wednesday, at least 84 Palestinians have been killed across the territory. The majority of the casualties occurred during intense bombardment in northern Gaza, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
