Nurses in England will strike from Sunday evening to Monday evening after a court ruled in favour of the government’s legal action to cut short their strike days.

The judge ruled the Royal College of Nursing’s six-month mandate for strike action would have lapsed by Tuesday.

Health Secretary Steve Barclay took legal action after NHS Employers said the last day of the planned strike was not covered by the mandate.
