Pakistan is to undertake a 5-day polio vaccination drive amid tight security, in its northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.

it’s aiming to vaccinate more than 6M children from April 21.

Polio remains endemic in Pakistan.

Armed groups have attacked medical and security personnel on previous vaccination drives, claiming polio vaccination efforts are ‘Western conspiracies.’
