The Israeli army suspended plans to demolish a football pitch in the Occupied West Bank after pressure from FIFA and UEFA, a rare instance of international sports governance influencing occupation authorities.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, settlers attacked Palestinians on Saturday in Wadi Saiir, north of Hebron; an Israeli military raid in the village of Tell, west of Nablus, led to more than seven cases of tear-gas inhalation treated by paramedics.

Israeli forces also arrested three young men in Birzeit on Saturday evening after they confronted settlers attacking a house. The incidents highlight ongoing tensions over settlement expansion, civil liberties, and the protection of Palestinian communities under occupation.
