Authorities in Madagascar are assessing the damage after Cyclone Emnati made landfalls late Tuesday near Vohipeno -215 KM south-southwest of Mananjary.
The area was hit by cyclone Batsirai in early February, which left more than 124 people dead and displaced around 143,000.
Cyclone Dumako made landfalls just last week.
Around 30,000 people were evacuated from their homes as a precaution, authorities said on Wednesday.
The UN weather agency said eight to 12 more cyclones are expected in Madagascar and the southern African region.
