More than 9,000 children in the Gaza Strip have been injured, many suffering the loss of an arm or a leg.

UNICEF estimates that between 3,000 and 4,000 children have undergone one or more limb amputations, making Gaza the region with the highest rate of child amputees per capita worldwide.

Amid this crisis, a startup based in Karachi offers a beacon of hope. By providing locally made prosthetics, the company helps affected children—and others with disabilities—regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
