Reports from Israeli media have provided new insights into a potential deal aimed at de-escalating the violence.

This deal, which appears to be implemented in three stages, includes provisions for the release of prisoners and captives as part of an exchange between Israel and Palestinian factions in Gaza.

The first phase of the deal, which is reportedly already in motion, involves Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Philadelphi Corridor. This strategically important border area, which separates Gaza from Egypt, will be vacated by Israeli forces by the conclusion of this initial phase.
